2024 MRASH Abstracts

Please submit your abstract for the MRASH Conference

Submit your abstract here

We are looking for a wide range of topics related to agricultural health and safety research, surveillance, education, outreach, and intervention.  All who have an abstract accepted are expected to register to attend the MRASH Conference.  Abstracts focusing on emerging issues and evidence-based practices are highly encouraged.  There are three different types of abstracts that can be submitted, all using this form.

1.  Breakout Session Abstracts – Due August 10, 2024
  • May include either:
    • Oral Presentation – up to 15 minutes presentation, 3 per hour with shared 15 minutes for discussion.
    • Round Table Presentation – 60 minutes total, 3 to 5 presenters share 30 minute presentation time on a topic or theme followed by 30 minutes of discussion.  Abstract must include a summary of the overall topic, the list of presenters and a short description of each of their presentations.
  • Abstracts will be evaluated and those accepted will be notified by August 22, 2024.
  • These are scheduled to be presented Friday morning, November 8, 2024.

2.  New this year:  Messaging in Minutes Abstracts – Due August 10, 2024

  • Format is a 15 minute small table group hands on activity.
  • Topic can be something you would like to teach or to learn.  If it won’t be you doing the teaching, please list a potential table leader and their contact information.
  • Final topics will be selected and notified by the MRASH Planning Team.
  • These will be presented on Thursday afternoon, November 7, 2024.

3.  Poster Abstracts – Due October 8, 2024

  • May include demonstrations, animations, or other types of displays in addition to posters.
  • Poster or display- We use a less dense, more engaging poster format and encourage you to be creative!  We have had them printed on a t-shirt, hand drawn or demonstrated.  This category could also include a display, animation, demonstration or other format.  For more information, search for #betterposter.
  • These will be showcased at the conference reception on the evening of November 8. They may also be exhibited for the full conference for viewing during breaks and lunch.
