1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Cultivating Conversations small group mini-workshops on topics such as gas monitoring, citizen science, bioaerosols, stress, avian influenza, emergency preparedness, cancer screening, zoonotic disease vectors. Attendees will sign up for 4 time slots at the registration table. Each mini-workshop will be 20 minutes long and will include a handout.
2:30 – 3:00 p.m. Break
3:00 – 4:30 p.m. Mental Wellness Workout. This session has two objectives 1) practice activities to build mental wellness for those in attendance 2) identify new tools to help clients and target audiences build their own mental wellness. We will feature programs from Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, Michigan, Montana and more.
4:30 – 6:00 p.m. Poster Reception. Eat delicious local food, network with colleagues, discuss with poster presenters, visit exhibitors, listen to good music, network with colleagues. Cash bar will be available.
6:00 – ?? p.m. Dinner on your own. Please be aware that many of the restaurants in Amana close early this time of year.
